Dr. Schaefer Shiyou is originally from Madison, Mississippi. She completed her undergraduate education at Mississippi State University in 2017 and is a recent graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her clinical interests include internal medicine, geriatric care, and preventive medicine of small animals. Dr. Shiyou is relocating to Charleston with her husband, Logan, and they are so excited to embrace the low country lifestyle with their dog Harvey and their cat Jax. In her free time, Dr. Shiyou enjoys traveling, live music, good food, and reading.
